Our values

At Rock’n Jump Adventure, we are committed to upholding social and environmental values. Our priority is to offer you high-quality canyoning, via ferrata, caving and climbing experiences in the Jura Mountains, whilst ensuring our activities are safe, environmentally friendly and fair.

Your level, your interests

We offer summer and winter activities, tailored to your ability and preferences, every day, all year round, right on your doorstep.

Safety

Your safety is our top priority. Your guide may decide at any time to alter the itinerary for safety reasons, particularly depending on the participants’ ability or the weather conditions.

To ensure maximum safety during your outdoor activities in the Jura, we ask that you bring your own basic equipment, including closed-toe trainers with laces. If you do not have the necessary equipment, we offer a hire service for via ferrata shoes and gloves.

The groups

To ensure your comfort and safety, we offer tours in small groups. You’ll never end up in a ‘tourist trap’. If you’re an existing group but there are a lot of you, we’ll provide one or more additional guides to accompany you.

If you’d rather not join a group tour, we offer VIP Tour packages, with a guide all to yourself.

The equipment provided

We are committed to always providing you with high-quality, clean and comfortable equipment that complies with current standards. Our stock of equipment is regularly updated and recorded in a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) register.

Environment

Where possible, we offer training venues near you.

We also place great importance on respecting the natural environment, including its flora and fauna. Access to certain areas is restricted or not recommended at certain times of the year, to allow rare and/or protected species to breed.

For example:

  • When canyoning, we will avoid walking on gravel beds and sandbanks, where trout, brook trout, Arctic char and other fish breed…
  • Whether we’re doing a via ferrata or using a portaledge, we won’t be going to Lake Vouglans before 15 June to allow the birds to nest,
  • When climbing, we’ll avoid climbing on routes where peregrine falcons nest…

Finally, all canyoning equipment is washed after each use, using a biodegradable product that does not affect the water quality of our rivers.

Guides’ remuneration

All our guides hold the necessary state-recognised qualifications to lead your activities. Our guides are passionate about their work, but they do not work for free. We therefore strive to pay them a fair and reasonable wage.
