The Regardoir via ferrata above Lake Vouglans
Located in Moirans-en-Montagne, the Regardoir via ferrata is one of the most iconic routes in the Jura. Throughout the route, you’ll be walking along the cliff face overlooking Lake Vouglans, in spectacular natural surroundings.
You make your way along the trail using rungs, ladders and rope bridges, which allow you to climb safely to greater heights. As you progress along the trail, the viewpoints gradually come into view, offering breathtaking views of the lake and its cliffs.
The walk ends with a 90-metre-long aerial walkway overlooking the lake, which is the real highlight of the activity.
The via ferrata takes around 2 hours 30 minutes to complete, which gives you plenty of time to enjoy it at a leisurely pace.

One of the great advantages of the Regardoir via ferrata is its aspect. The route remains in the shade in the morning, until early afternoon.
This makes it a particularly enjoyable activity on hot days, especially in the summer. For this reason, we give priority to morning slots, so that we can offer you the best conditions.

At the end of the walk, you can enjoy a relaxing break right next to the site. The Regardoir restaurant, just a short walk from the car park, is the perfect place to have a drink or a bite to eat whilst enjoying the view of the lake.
The nearby village of Moirans-en-Montagne also has several restaurants, including L’Oustau, where you can continue the experience in a friendly atmosphere.
